In some ocassions if you have disabled the password on your MSA (backup location) it's not asking for the MSA recovery code, instead sending an email or worse, SMS to the same device. Cannot provide Screenshots by design to show this.Ĥ. In some of ocassions after a restore MSFT Business MFAs become "stale" and cannot be opened or deleted. There is too little guidance (UX) on how to.ģ. After a restore MSFT Business Accounts MFA get "broken" and need to be recovered. Authenticator Backup and Restore should work to a Microsoft Business or School Account, currently only MSA allowed, feels odd saving all business related MFAs in a private space that's eventually not secure or compliant for the IT.Ģ.
